Well I hope this review helps others. I recently received my performance filter system, and I can honestly say that I am over the moon with this. Not for just the looks, but noticeable power as well. Many thanks guys!

I can not believe how this product changed to character and sound of my 997. I have always liked my car but the lack of exhaust sound was always disappointing. The car now sounds incredible ,like it should have all along. At low rpm and throttle input it sounds stock. But, above 4-5k it sounds unbelievable. I am amazed an induction system could make such a difference. It feels more responsive and faster but even it the numbers didn't change it is still the best modification I have made. Looks great too.

Besides looking great in the engine compartment this intake system REALLY works! There is a noticable power increase, better throttle response and above 5000 rpm it sounds awesome, especially with the top down. Kudos to Fabspeed for this excellent product. Thank you Shane for rushing it to me in time for my vacation!

I just completed the install of the 997 Competition Air Intake on my 2006 911S and I couldn't be happier. Just as the other wrote, huge difference from 5500rpm,. It pulls like crazy from 5500rpm up to redline, and now sounds like a factory GT RSR when it roars as the rpm's increase. Sure the instructions could be better suited to a 997 vs a 996 but they generally apply and give you enough info to complete the install yourself in about an hour. Fit and finish is flawless and the engine bay now looks cool as hell!! Drive and sound below 4000rpm is Just the same as stock so when crusing on the hi way in 6th you get no drone.

Yes at 4000-5500 rpm the engine roars. I believe though that the installation instructions should be better and specific for your car i.e. 996 vs 997 vs 997 S
