    Superb easy upgrade that should be done with all 599s. No check engine light came on. Engine will run a little cooler. I have noticed much more power with the car. The exhaust sound is way louder and higher pitched like an F1 car. I reckon that it is a must to disable the exhaust valves as well which is a quick 5 minute job - you won't get a check engine light either with valves disabled to be always in the open position. Also to complete the increase in power are the high flow BMC air filters. Very easy to self install. Takes 15 mins to do. The air filters are easily accessible.

    The 599 Secondary Catbypass Pipes ARE GREAT. No install issues, no warning lights, in fact I actually waited on the car at the local shop because it was so easy to install. Superb product, removal of the cats makes a nice little sound increase and of course a nice power increase too. Sounds awesome.

    My local Ferrari dealership installed the cat bypass on my 599 this afternoon. In a word, it's epic. It gives the 599 the sound quality it deserves. It makes much more noise at start up, under acceleration and above 4,000 rpms. It still remains quiet will driving around town and on the interstate. The throttle response is improved and it feels like a nice amount of low end torque, considering I'm getting a lot more wheel spin under hard acceleration.
    I told the sales manager at Ferrari that installing this system on all of their 599's should be mandatory.
